Carefully lay the pipe in the trench on as even a grade as possible i.e. make certain there are no dips in the pipe because if there are, air may get trapped in the low spots and be difficult for your circulating pump to push through, which will decrease its operating efficiency. Note: in this picture you can see the electrical supply line for the boiler has been laid in the trench. If this is how you do it, be sure to run the electrical line alongside or above the pipe, not below it, to avoid damage to the electrical line.
When putting the pipe thru your hole into your basement, ensure it is not resting on the wall to prevent the pipe from getting damaged in case of settling
Carefully bury pipe to prevent it from moving once placed
